I started this thread a while back before ordering and owning a JL. I just hit 6000 miles so I thought I'd respond to my own thread. Own a '19 JLR 2.0T 8-speed auto. Build date 3/19.
I daily drive it everyday. No unscheduled trips to the dealer. Been to the dealer once for schedule maintenance. Did a oil change and 5-wheel tire rotation at 3000 mies. Had them do the steering stabilizer recall and update some software at the same time. Quality control wise, I think the doors have way too many waves. Other then that no issues other then a couple of cracked windshields. FCA needs to look into the QC for their glass. Very happy with the 2.0T and the gas milage when we have summer blend gas. Quite impressive to see 26mpg highway in a Wrangler with Rubicon gears. Especially when you consider how much pep the engine has. Other then the wavy doors and fragile windshields I am extremely happy!
2019 JLUR
Build Feb 2019
2.0l eTorque (Made in USA, not Italy)
AUto (Also made in USA)
20k miles (numerous trips to mud and rocks)
Absolutely zero issues outside of the stabilizer recall and a firmware update of some sort that was performed while in for an oil change.
I'm now at 2 years, almost to the day, 26k miles, and only the steering dampener, which probably would have been fine if I hadn't lifted it. I think this Jeep will be a real long term winner!
9K miles, no issues...2L works great. Just added 2.5” lift and 35’s, don’t anticipate any issues because of tires and lift. Only on pavement to get to dirt....
8k miles
‘19 JLUS Hardtop
3.6 Auto
Anti spin, Trac Control, LSD gearing
Rubi Takeoff Suspension
Only issue has been the passenger seat clunks on turns with someone sitting in it. About to get my second service done on the Jeep and I’ll have them look at the seat. It’s been a great vehicle. I drive 40 miles daily in the Jeep and it’s a blast. The dealership did do the steering stabilizer swap but I don’t consider that an issue because my steering has never been bad. I do have a black glue/rubber/plastic smear on my doors which is strange. And my seats could have been tighter around the handles outside of that I love the thing.
Well I had one problem, a fuel sensor was DOA the first 14 miles but no other issues since. Did the steering stabilizer recall which I did not notice any difference as it drove great after air down to 34 psi.
