And I shipped, window sticker is now available (Highlighting my nearly $3600 price increase since I ordered-and almost $1800 since the dealer ordered ). Halleluiah. So it's either already at the dealer, or making a several month journey at sea with a stop at 25 ports and 5 continents to make sure it is well aged for consumption.

I picked mine up on Thursday! Pickup took some time but there were no snags other than the ones I created, and I had a nice leisurely sunny drive home through the countryside in the early evening. I always forget what a beautiful state NC is and how much I love the piedmont.

These things are really fun. I stopped and took my roof panels off yesterday afternoon on the way home after running an errand, and well ... I won't miss my sunroof. I ordered one of the Bestop Sunriders for Hardtops as soon as I got home.

But honestly I don't yet know if it was worth the 13 weeks of stress and frustration -- I'm still in the "new" phase where everything is awesome.

My order just completed the Build phase and now is in the inspection stage. 17 weeks since I ordered.

OK, Cryptostickers emailed me overnight to say my build sheet was generated. I wrote Jeep Chat and: "Thank you so much for holding. I am showing that your vehicle is in the shipping stage however a Dealer ETA has not been provided. It will remain in this stage until delivered to the Dealer."

Is it bad that I'm walking around the house showing everybody my build sheet like it was an ultrasound?

My 4xe finally arrived, Gorilla Glass and all. Sorry for the poor picture, but it's raining here! Many thanks to everyone who helped me track the delivery, and thanks as well to all of you whose stories kept me going as I waited, sometimes more patiently than other times.

As is tradition, here's my timeline, just shy of 15 weeks:

6/12 -- Ordered
6/15 -- Got VIN from Jeep Chat using VON
6/17 -- Jeep Chat confirmed "D" status
7/28 -- Escalated via Jeep Chat because order still in "D"
7/29 -- Welcome email from Cara
8/07 -- Jeep Chat said I had been in D1 for 4 days
8/10 -- Email from Cara confirming D1 and "estimated production plan timing for either the week of August 16th or the week of August 23rd"
8/16 -- Jeep Chat said I was still in D1
8/19 -- Got build sheet email from Cryptostickers; Jeep Chat said I was in shipping with no ETA; dealer confirmed KZS status
8/24 -- Jeep Chat said current Dealer ETA is 09/08/2021 - 09/21/2021.
8/25 -- Cara emailed estimated delivery window was 9/8/2021 - 9/21/2021.
8/30 -- Cara emailed estimated delivery window was 09/16/2021 - 09/30/2021.
9/17 -- Arrived at dealer, needed RRTs completed
9/20 -- Delivery! Also, email from Cara, estimated delivery window is 9/17/2021.

Honestly this vehicle has exceeded all my expectations. Mike, my sales guy, is really an amazing guy. He lost his wife and father in law to covid early on and this guy keeps the most amazing attitude about life (found out today when I picked up) . He made extra time for me left and right. Always answered my calls, and spent part of his day off yesterday making sure I could pick up my Jeep this morning before me and my girlfriend went on a trip to see her friend who lives 4 hours away. The wait was well worth it. Thanks to all who shared everything they knew through the wait. God bless

Hello gorilla glass gang. I remember waiting for my Wrangler here with everybody. I said something like "I can't wait until I'm driving my Jeep through some beautiful part of the country and never thinking about the wait again."

Well I've had a few of those times already. Here are some pics from my trip to Guadalupe mountains national park. Highly recommend visiting there if you get the chance. It's really an under visited/appreciated park imo.

Also got the chance to take it on some off-road trails that are just outside the park. Just the amount of difficulty I was comfortable with in the stock JL and we ended up at one of the nicest campsites I've ever had the pleasure of staying at.

Hope everyone has had a chance to get their Jeep outside on some trails.
