I remember seeing GG a couple of days ago on Build & Price and it’s still on there for 4xe. $95 Gorilla Glass - it’s the last option under Exterior.

It‘s still there for the higher trim levels at least, all the 4xe levels, and the 392. I don’t see it for some of the special editions (80th, Freedom), and the website is screwing up for me so I haven’t been able to check all the lower trim levels. I wouldn’t read too much into it.I'm in the process of building my JL and noticed the build website shut down for a few hours Monday evening. When it finally came back up, gorilla glass was no longer an option...not sure if that says much but sounds like they are having trouble securing it....thought I'd share
Ok makes sense, I was building a Sahara...it was an option then went away. The dealer will know best. It‘s still there for the higher trim levels at least, all the 4xe levels, and the 392. I still see it on the non 4xe Sahara on the build and price tool? Just below the ocean of top options.Ok makes sense, I was building a Sahara...it was an option then went away. The dealer will know best.
I ordered June 10th as well, but was told I can't escalate until day 45, which is Monday. I intend to do that if I don't hear anything between now and then.GG order June 10 through Gupton. I've been in "gathering parts" since day 1. I checked yesterday after shutdown last week, and , still "parts are being gathered...." I was hoping for some kind of movement based on the speculation that gorilla glass orders might be moving forward.
"Check back next week." So I politely asked since there was zero movement in nearly 7 weeks, if I could be escalated for a brand specialist to review. Yup. Done.
Hadn't heard anything in 24 hours, so I checked back in today to get case number. The Chat response was: "I can see that your order has already been escalated just yesterday. It can take a few days for the agent to reach back to you. I will send them an alert that you reached out to us again, we appreciate your patience, sorry for any frustration."
Fortunately, I already have a convertible for the summer, and have enough patience to wait it out. So, nothing fun to report other than being escalated. The wait continues.
I've read all kinds of different numbers of days in this thread. So I set my positive tone at the beginning, and was politely persistent, and Chat said yes. Now, what "escalation" and "case number" and "specialist" actually mean seems to be subject to different interpretations. But at least escalate is a different response than gathering parts.I ordered June 10th as well, but was told I can't escalate until day 45, which is Monday. Interesting...I ordered before you and was told I can escalate until 45 days (Friday). Jeepchat is entertaining.GG order June 10 through Gupton. I've been in "gathering parts" since day 1. Me too!! How exciting!!Checked again today and I’m in Frame stage!
Lol I've done ordered all my accessories (rims, tires, bumpers, rock rails, skid plates, lift kit, axle shafts, gears, truss/gussets, steering stabilizer, driveshafts, winch, compressor, spare tire carrier, etc etc) and my Wrangler is still in D status. Supposed to have all that installed and on the road Sept 25th for a Moab trip. Suddenly I'm not even sure if my Jeep will be here by then, let alone all the parts on it too. Fingers crossed!!I guess it's really time to start ordering accessories.
35" KO2s are sold out or 4+ weeks out all over the place. May have waited too long to order those now.
Got my official email acknowledgment tonight from “Cara.” Again, telling me “At this present time, all of the materials that are necessary to build your vehicle are being received and the build process should begin very soon.” Which is what I’ve heard from the beginning.Interesting...I ordered before you and was told I can escalate until 45 days (Friday). Super happy for you (seriously)!Me too!! How exciting!!
Same. I was at day 50 when I hit D1, I know this from the escalation email.I think I was 50-51 days before hitting D1. And to be honest, I’m not even sure that’s when I hit it - I’m just going by Jeep Chat’s verbiage change. So infuriating not knowing what’s happening.
