Still trying to decide between the clear 3M protective film and plastic covers like these:

Given my poor decal installation skills, I'm pretty sure that I'll goof up the 3M film. This got me interested in the plastic covers as an alternative, but I'm concerned about moisture getting trapped behind them, and perhaps accelerating an already problematic corrosion issue. Just curious if anyone has experience with these covers.
