Thanks. Be safe and enjoy. Happy trails.No... they didn't give a wd hitch rating like they do with their other vehicles, most likely due to the removable top. It does better than my mother's grand Cherokee which is rated at 6000lbs, both in terms of stopping and controlling the trailer. The rubi and sahara have larger brakes, longer wheelbase and the same drivetrain vs the grand Cherokee, exception being the rubi has deeper gears and way beefier axles. Having towed with both and having towed with other vehicles rated higher that were way scarier, I'm not worried with this setup. I've had a few quick stops and some 25mph winds, so far so good.
Couldn't say the same for my old grand wagoneer that was rated 5000lbs... If the hitch wasn't set up perfectly and the trailer loaded a little off it was scary.
