The Jeep tows very well. I had no problems braking with or without the brake controller. No issues with Sway.I too have a 2 door Sport S.
Your post above is now 6 months old.
1: How does the van tow?
2: What about braking?
3: Any trailer sway?
Nice set up.Picked up the T@b today, 1 owner 2020, also used the CURT Echo Bluetooth brake controller, worked perfectly, will never hardwire another brake controller. They sell a remote button (1”x1”) now so you don’t need the phone. Regardless, the controller still works if it does disconnect from the phone for any reason.
Trailer is quite a bit under the tow rating, no equalizer or sway control needed. I was pleased with the lack of trailer reaction when passing any big trucks.
Nice set up.
Love the Curt Echo, but had no idea they had a button. Just ordered. Thanks for the heads up!
Thanks, Our girls are grown up but a ton of great memories camping with them. Great picture
Need to look into some beefier tires and supposedly the torsion axles can be clocked for more height.

Did you wrap to match the Jeep? Looks good.
So can you open your Jeep tailgate with this set up??The Jeep tows very well. I had no problems braking with or without the brake controller. No issues with Sway.
Attached picture shows dual fiberglass propane tanks w/cover, battery box behind and trailer breakaway switch mounted to frame. I have an Autowbreak break controller mounted inside in a cabinet.
I’m going to go with no!So can you open your Jeep tailgate with this set up??
I moved my Jack to the side and put one that flips up. I also got rid of the big propane tank as I did not need six months worth of propane on the tongue of the camper just so I could open the tailgate and access the back of my Jeep.I’m going to go with no!
It’s the most frustrating part of pulling my camper. I’m forever forgetting something in the back of the Jeep and climbing over the seat to get it!
