Never realized each trim level has a different style grab handle over glove box....from what I can tell, the Sport and the Rubicon have "Wrangler" or "1941" on there's while my Sahara's is plain jane.....any one order a different version and switch out?

First one is Sahara's, second is Rubicon's...I can't find the SPort version, but I recall when I test drove one, it looked better...

Hmm yeah my sport s is the same. I guess the “1941” looks similar.

See, I like those versions better as they at least aren't plain...wonder if I can order and install?

My JLU Sahara was built on 4/19 and it has the plain one. I had noticed the same thing and was a bit disappointed. I liked the exposed bolt heads that match the ones in the center stack.

Yeah I agree with you completely. My JLU Sport was built 12/17. However mine came with the “Customer Preferred Package 24S” and the “Technology Group” that is not available on current Sport models. Basically I have a cross between a Sahara and a Sport S.

By upgrading to the Sport S trim level you are able to add the technology group package. You do not have some hybrid Sport / Sahara model. You have a Sport S trim level with the technology group package. You can build a Jeep that way right now on their site.

I think the Sahara has 'Wrangler' and bolts if it has a cloth interior and a plain handle with the leather upgrade. Pictures from the builder on Jeep website:

Could someone please confirm with their Sahara?

I had a JLU Sahara with cloth but did not have bolts in grab handle - it was plain.
