I took them off at 6000 miles. I wouldn’t buy them again. No one reason why, just overall didn’t care for them.

Nice...I read that the 37" ridge grapplers are a good bit heavier at 82 lbs.(12lbs more than 37" Milestar) How much do you feel it accelerating and braking?
Yeah, Nittos are heavy, but I have confidence in them. I notice a little difference, physics don’t lie, but I had already re geared to 4.88, so acceleration is still good.

Anyone running 38X13.50R17LT 119Q C/6 BW MILESTAR PATAGONIA M/T on the stock Rubicon wheels? Would the wheel width and backspacing be a proper fit?

No they would not.
A 13-1/2" tire on a 7-1/2" rim is FAR from ideal.

From this thread I see people run them anywhere from 24 to 32 psi on a highway. The stock Rubicon KO2s are set at 37 psi for highway. I was wondering what contributes to such big difference in the psi? Would such low highways psi make the Jeep unstable and too soft on a highway? Is that matter of the personal preference or the larger tires normally require lower pressure on a highway? Thanks.

Load range and ply count are the main factors. The Milestars have a higher load rating so they are very stiff compared to stock tires (normally). They are also heavier as a result. To offset the stiffness, you run a lower psi.

Believe it or not, there really isn’t a noticeable difference in stability at the lower psi. From my experience, when these things are aired up to 37+ psi, they ride like bowling balls on the highway. They even have the same crown shape from being overinflated and seem downright dangerous, in my opinion.

I’m sure there are people here who can give a more technical response, but that’s my experience and understanding.

Thank you for explanation. I guess sidewall stiffness would be one of the main factors here.

I'm still waiting to see what the Norm is with these tires as far as longevity. If they wear down to SLICKS at 20k that's a no go for me. I'd be replacing them every 1.5yrs. Screw that noise.

I think I'm either going Cooper STT Pro or Nitto Ridge Grapplers next. Although honestly the KO2's are serving just fine for what I use my jeep for.
