I've been using Milestar Patagonia 38x13.5x17 for the last 5000 miles. Granted, 90% of the time as my daily driver with highway miles. I switched from running Nittos and this tire is the quietest tire I've ever owned. Typically I average 80 MPH, because any slower, these insane Phoenix drivers are passing you by. They run smooth and straight with my PSI at 24. So far, no issues offroad either but I tend to stick to rocky or hard dirt surfaces. I haven't had any real wet roads or mud due to living in the Southwest. They are a really soft tire, but maybe also the combination of our extreme heat, I can see them wearing faster than other tires and I've committed to rotating them every 3000 miles. Can't beat the price though! Overall, I would recommend them.

Those things actually pull in the mud? The voids seem rather tight and maybe hard to clean out? Good looking tire though.

I just put a set of 317/70-17's on my JLUS. So far I've only put about25 miles on them but I cannot believe how quiet and smooth they are! They are mounted on Pro Comp Series 61 Hammers in a 17x9 with a -6mm offset.

Right now I've just got Rubi shocks and springs giving me about 1.8" of lift and have zero clearance issues on the street. I've got Rubi fenders coming which should give me what I need to have clearance for off-road articulation.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Getting the 38x13.50 Load C - They are just perfect!
That's the only downside w/ the set I ordered, the 295/70/17 is E load rated, so they will be a bit firmer and they only come in Black Sidewalls and the wife likes the lettering :)

Just picked them up, got a crazy deal on them, about $100 off per tire @ $124 each w/ free shipping @walmart.com. Should be a nice setup, now I just need my Jeep :)

1) they’re cheap

2) they look aggressive

3) they’ve got a good social media advertising strategy.

Tires like this come and go. Once enough get out in the market, the real reviews start coming in.

I've got the tires in 37 on my JLUR. They are great. 7500 miles, plenty of wheeling trips. Smoking the tires not necessary for grip, not sure what that fella was talking about up there. Heck I crawled up a few slabs that had running water on them at Hot Springs ORP a few weeks ago. Heck, the rig in front of me was on 39" red labels and he didn't do anything i wasn't able to accomplish. Mind you his tires were a bit more sticky (for the price they better be). They are good and quiet on the highway, they are wearing great, balanced great.

I'm not a paid reviewer, i bought these tires with my own money.... Also... the price on these is spectacular. i believe i paid 225 or so per tire installed!

Milestar has been around quite a while and has a good reputation, the tires aren't bargain-bucket cheap, $230 for a 33" x17 isn't chump change (i got a great one-off deal but shopping around I just was in the right place at the right time).
You're surely entitled to your opinion but shouldn't be so quick to lump this tire into that category, especially since you don't have first hand experience w/ them.

Milestar is a Tireco brand. Tireco has been around since the early 70s.

The prices on the milestar tires have increased drastically over the past year or so. Deals still can be had through certain suppliers. Popularity is driving price hikes.

Plenty of "real" reviews have been given. These tires are no joke and have done well for me in every situation, including winter driving. MT plus winter usually results in poor results. I haven't had them on rocks, and don't intend to, however there are plenty of people who have and had a positive experience.

The set we put on my cousin's Ram 2500 went from 19/32nds down to between 16 and 17/32nds in roughly 5,000 miles. Keep in mind that's a 7,000+ lb. truck with gobs of torque.

So, on a JL they should wear down about average compared to other AT and MT tires on the market. Not bad at all for such a soft, squishy, sticky rubber compound!

He still loves his set. I wanted to buy some on Black Friday but the 315/70 was sold out!!

How does the spare fit? Did you change stock tire carrier or rear bumper to fit the 315's?
