Looking at shocks with real-time active adjustments. Icon and e-click seem to be it. Anyone running the e clicks and if so how do you like?

Looks pretty slick. Website has the shocks and they're claiming a certain amount of lift in an "active kit" but they only show pictures of the shock. Do they have an actual lift or is it just the shocks themselves?

Edit: found this article as well in another thread on here.

Seems to be better suited for Overlanding but still looks like a nice system. I had active shocks on my Focus RS. Once I added an aftermarket controller, it was a huge difference. I loved it.

I purchased these last week and installed. I do not know how these would only be suited best for overlanding as they are no different then your top end Falcons or Icons, and Fox. The only difference is the shock Adjusted from its softest to its stiffest from 0-10 based on your driving. and does it 250 times a second and individually to each shock. Simple system like the Falcon only adjust s all 4 at once and only go max soft of max hard. Every shop I have talked to that has ridden, or installed is amazed at what they do to a keep on and off road.

Just watched a video with some Jeep hating Raptor dudes riding in a JLUR w37’s using this setup. Long story short, they were blown away. Does amazing at high speed and you can still rock crawl with the best of them.

And the fact that they say you don’t need to run additional bumpstops is also interesting; and the adjustability for lift height is also a nice touch.

My SDI E-Click Pros arrived today for my ordered 2022 Rubi XR. A buddy of mine removed his Falcons and installed E-Click Pros on his 2019 JLU Rubi a few weeks ago and the SDI ride is noticeably better with no more body roll and hitting expansion joints are no longer teeth jarring..

Fixing stupid....
I am very interested, but would be very concerned about longevity.

12 months is way too short of a warranty. It is extremely expensive, and might even be worth it if it had a warranty comparable to Falcon / Fox / Etc...

With how much abuse shocks take on a jeep, this seems like a really expensive gamble.

although I am curious to see these on a 4xe. The weight distribution on each corner of my 4XE is significantly different than it was on my JLUS.

Wow, technology can be really cool. If this system does what they claim it seems like it would be really nice.

Maybe in the future a poor man will be able to afford it.

I put these on about a month and a half back. Man these are awesome. Only issue I am having is that I cannot run my Banks Derringer on my Ecodiesel since they both need the OBD port. SDI was awesome and sent the needed info to Banks and their should be a solution within a month. Controller is pretty slick as well.

A few questions for you:
  • how long tall is the e click transmission lever compared to the stock lever?
  • What happens if the ring gets turned while driving? (I have REALLY long legs that touch the top of the lever at times while driving)
  • Do you have a tazer? Wanted to understand if this causes any issues due to the delay in signals When the tazer is installed.
Thanks!

I would say it is about an inch maybe 1.5 inches taller. I am only 6'1" but I have not had any issues at all. If the dial gets turned it doesnt do anything. You use that after you select the icon you want to use on the screen then dial through. I believe it only toggles the default screen options which are current real time settings of shocks, MPH and angle pitch. Nothing major. I havent ever hit it with my leg. I have a Tazer Mini that stays plugged in and have not had any issues. Only issues are running the Derringer

i looked at where I sit and where my leg is and I have about 3-4 inches from the knob when normal driving and my seat is moved a bit to the wheel. You shouldnt have an issue
