I’m looking at new wheels and tires fit my 3” lifted JLUR and the available width for the 37” tires I want is 13.5”. In the past I’ve run 12” wide 35s. Any issues with the additional width?

1. Depending on the wheel back spacing you may rub when turning

2. You will need at least an 8.5 inch wide wheel

3. Less traction in winter conditions and rain

4. May wander a bit more

5. Heavier than the 12.50 wide tire

Other than that, not much of a difference.

I’ll have 9” wide wheels with 4.5 back spacing and -12 offset.

If the other possible downfalls don't bother you, go for it.

I've run multiple 13.50 wide tires.
Thanks for the feedback. I went ahead and ordered five 37 x 13.5 r18 BFG KM3s. Hopefully everything clears when fully flexed with the 2” Mopar lift. I know the rear fender liner connected to the bumper will need to be removed and slightly modified like in the video below but I’m hoping that’s the extent of it.

You should be fine. Kevin and Brittany (litebrite) ran 38x13.50r17s with the RC 2.5 space lift for a while and it worked out.

Here was the final outcome BFG 37 x 13.5 r18 tires in 18 x 9 Fuel Hardline wheels with a 2” Mopar lift. Everything clears ok and other than a little loss in acceleration they ride great. I’ll orobably rehear within the next year.

Looks good. Did you recalibrate for the larger tire size? If not, that will help.

I have 37 13.50s 17 Cooper SST pros I can't get them to drive straight I have bought lower control arms that are adjustable another alignment rotated the tires all the way around flipped in different air pressure it's not a tire pull but I don't know what to do.I even had a good aligned shop that does lots of jeeps I line it and I can't get it to drive straight everyone's telling me it's because the extra wide ants from 12:50 to 1350 makes it right outside the crown on the highway I guess I'll go back to 12:50 I hate to I really like the wider look on a 37 13.50 17. The 3712.50 in the 37 is too narrow in my opinion but I'm tired of spending money and not getting nowhere.does your 37 13.50 drive straight with no problems what all have you done to the front end besides just a lift kit?

Have been running the STT Pro 37x13.5 on a 2 door JK for a while now with no issue. As soon as the JLU gets lifted they will be going under it. What is your caster set at? What psi in the tires?

28 psi and we've had the lower control arms put on We had a guy that does alignments as one of the best around in town. All the Jeep shops go to him. We can't still get it to drive straight we're going to 1250 s I really like the look in a 1350 but everyone said 1350 as well ride outside the crown on the highway

Looks great! Can you please show a side profile of how far to Tires stick out past the fenders I plan on running a 10 inch wide rim with the same size tire on my Rubicon
