So last question about the rubi suspension. Did anyone change out the bump stops, or are they also the same? Will a bit of a larger tire (stock rubi size) rub if being flexed?
I had stock rubi wheels/tires before the suspension. I flexed it with the stock sport suspension and did not notice any rubbing. It certainly does not rub with the rubi suspension on it now. Have flexed it many times now.

Thanks!! That's what I was wondering. I have my project for the weekend now!

Has anyone had their rear axle shift slightly?

I added some spacers tonight (1.5 inch) and noticed that one side seemed to stick out more. I haven’t actually measured yet since it’s dark out but it’s definitely slightly off.

I have a sport s with Rubi shocks, springs, mopar lift LCAs in the front and 1/2 inch leveling kit for the front as well. I have had the suspension installed for over 6k miles and never noticed it till now....

Not to threadjack, but I am having Mopar 2" lift installed next week on my 2019 2 door Rubicon 2.0L. My Jeep only has 4K miles on it. I will be selling my stock Rubicon suspension for $200 if anyone in the NY/NJ area is interested.

Just installed the Rubicon takeoffs springs and shocks on my 2018 JLU sport. The new rear springs numbers were 91 and 92 and the front springs were 61 and 62. Along with the springs and shocks I also installed the Mopar 2 inch lift lower control arms (82215398AB) and a Daystar 3/4 inch lift kit (DAYKJ09181BK) and cause of the problems with the track bar welds on the JL I also installed the Rusty’s front track bar mount brace (RC-TB7500-JL). Note: my jeep was not on the recall list but I installed the track bar mount due to I was under the jeep and with the spring removed it was easier to install. All the work took about 5 hours and when the work was completed I had the jeep realigned. With the new control arms the caster came in just over 6. The Jeep tracks straight and steered very well. Here are the height numbers before and after the Rubicon parts install. Before Right front 37 1/8 Left front 37 1/8 Right rear 37 1/2 Left rear 37 5/8 After Right front 39 1/4 Left front 39 1/4 Right rear 39 1/4 Left rear 39 3/8 for about 2 inches of lift. If the Daystar 3/4 inch lift was not installed the lift would have been about 1 1/4 inches. The best thing my wife says the Jeep rides a lot better I think it is due to the shocks. This was a good way to go for a cheap lift using mostly Mopar parts. $200.00 for the Rubicon takeoffs, $50.00 Daystar 3/4 lift kit, $70.00 for lower control arms and $100 for the track bar mount for a total cost for parts of $425.00 plus $85.00 for alignment. If I did not added the track bar mount it would have cost $325.00 for a 2 inch lift. I have driven the Jeep about 2000 miles and very happy with the ride and handling. Next step is new tires and rims. The first image is the best before I had the next 3 are the after image.

Unfortunately I don’t have any tools to do the work.

cool. Unfortunately I don’t have any tools to do the job. Did you add anything besides the rubicon suspension? Thinking of adding a RC 2.5 budget boost

I installed the suspension my self. was actually rather easy install. just need a few hand tools, a jack and torque wrench. the hardest thing IMO is figuring out each corner coil spring as all four corners are different sizes. which i just did by masking tape on the stocks location and then measuring the difference between them. i recommend picking up a set of metric box wrenches, set of metric sockets 8mm-25mm in 3/8' drive. wrenches in the same sizes. and a 1/2" torque wrench from amazon. this would be a great way to start working on your jeep!. if your looking for a shop i dont have a specific shop that i go to. but i know i picked up my rubi take offs from a shop in Colton. they seemed like a good set of guys there when i was chatting with them. place was called 4 west 4 wheel drive.

I've had Rubicon suspension and wheels/tires on my S for about a year now. It looks great, still rides perfect (I had the same concerns). The only real tell is the red shocks but I think most shops wouldn't even realize it. I say go for it and enjoy! Here is a before and after with the suspension installed.

This is what I needed (and hoped) to see today, adding Rubi shocks and springs soon and your ride looks very similar! Thank you!

I'm extremely new to the Jeep scene, so I apologize in advance for any silly questions! I purchased my stock 2018 JL Sport used, back in August. Went wheelin' for the first time this past weekend and realized pretty quickly that I needed better tires and a bit of a lift. One of my Jeep club friends offered up her stock Rubi suspension and 5 wheels/tires. Is it as easy as just installing them or is there something else that needs to be done/added to make it work?

And she's offering both for $800 total. Is that a decent price? Tires have just under 8k miles on them, assuming the suspension does as well.

Thanks!

That's a great price. From what I have read, everything should be bolt-on.

You may want to consider changing your lower control arms at the same time to dial in additional caster. I like the Mopar lift lower control arms, but aftermarket adjustable arms will be better if you decide to lift more in the future. Here's a thread about the Mopar lift LCAs: https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/mopar-lca-swap.22474/
