I'd like to mix things up a bit. I have a Rubi (currently wearing black AEV pintlers). My OEM wheels are sitting in boxes. There's a local place that will refinish them to any color I want... ~$100per. Strongly considering... maybe a bronze to contrast my Sting Gray.

Have any of you refinished? If so, how did they turn out? What method (paint, powdercoat)? I've heard you shouldn't powdercoat cast wheel... myth or science?

Pics and feedback welcome!

Cheers.

I'm loving the smoky bronze and I want it for my Granite Crystal. I'm waiting to see if the love wears off and I'll think it looks like a Suburu.

A buddy mocked this up for me... here's what a smokey bronze could look like...

I dig the idea, I would think they could easily be powder coated to match.
