Anyone know what this rubber part is?

I have a 3 moth old 2018 Jeep JLU Sahara. I went to close my soft top (from the full down position) and noticed this 3 foot piece of rubber wedged between the top rail and the top on the passenger side of the jeep when the roof was closed. I took the top down and the rubber pulled right out.

I can't seem to find a complimentary piece of rubber on the other side, so wondering if anyone knows what this is.

I will look at our top tomorrow evening, and if nobody has answered you by the time I figure it out, I will let you know. Its a JLUR but it would certainly be the same top. Cant imagine at this point.
