Ok, this is weird. Didn’t pay attention to the sender until you asked. It is from Westbury Jeep in Westbury New York. Never heard of the place or spoke with them before. I am in Utah.

I guess I’ll call their parts department tomorrow to see if I need to ship em back as some voodoo error occurred.

Not trying to stir up trouble, but it would be kinda nice if we were told that these were going to be coming at some point.

The only place they make notifications like that are in Fantasyland! Remember when Rodney Dangerfield was attending an economics course in "Back To School?"

Are those things supposed to come with the JL standard or is it an add-on item? I've also seen some posts about touch-up paint coming later on in the mail as well. Still waiting for the one, probably forever...

Thanks for clarifying, szobell. I checked with an internal resource and confirmed these aren't being sent out to JL owners. I am not sure why you received that from your dealer. Keep me updated on what you find out.

@JeepCares and everyone else. Mystery solved.

I spoke with Mike @ Westbury today and it turns out their Website is one that can be redirected to when you are on Mopar.com to order something. WAAAYYY back in May I ordered my soft-top bag (still no sign of that unicorn), windshield tie-downs and the door-sill protectors.

I had forgotten that the tie-downs were part of that order and thought i was just waiting for the elusive soft-top window storage bag.

There is no magic happening in the universe sending out free Jeep parts (kinda bummed about that).
