Anyone know what these are on the windshield?

Another set of microphones maybe? Oncoming headlight sensors for auto high-beams? They are directly wired on the windshield frame and run up under the hood where I lost them into a wire bundle.

I'd hate to think that FCA designed any system to look like that. It looks aftermarket, as in not neatly integrated. Are you the original owner? What do they look like from the front side?

This is a brand new vehicle. Can't see them from the front side since they are behind the blacked out section of the windshield.

I would think sensors for auto high beam or adaptive cruise would need to not be blocked by the blacked out portion of the windshield, and would be in the box behind the mirror. That's where they are located on my wife's Toyota.

Maybe they are a microphone like you suggested or a temp sensor?

I'm pretty sure they're security group or advanced security group related. Very curious to know what specifically they are though as I plan to permanently mount a radar detector right under them and want to know what I'd be potentially messing up.

I have both safety groups, and there is nothing like that on my windshield.

EDIT: Oops, see post #33.

New for 2021 maybe?

I custom ordered and took possession of it 12 days ago with 4 miles on it, so pretty sure it came that way from the factory and the dealership didn't do any addons. I just found another thread on here with a photo of them, it was stated there that it's adaptive cruise related, if so I'd love to know in what sense.

I have a 2021 Rubi with all the safety add ons (all the other options available). I do not have this.
