Looking to spray my side air vents to match Sahara brushed aluminum colors(from bumper inserts and headlight rings), but didn't know if anyone has removed those covers yet.....hopefully just a pop out kind of process versus removing wheel well liners, etc.....anyone? anyone? Bueller?

Haven’t done it but I like your idea. Let me know how it turns out. I was looking at the vent decals from Pixeldecals (blacktrimmed in silver) but may paint them instead.

I read somewhere on here that they pop out with a trim removal tool.

I removed mine with a bondo mud spreader.and there is 3 plastic clips you can reach with a long screw driver wrapped in tape for paint protection.

I separated mine from the black mesh part so I could paint them

Maybe he dried them in the oven and it didn't turn out well, and his wife killed him for making the house smell and ruining the oven.

I think we should open an investigation.
Yeah....or maybe he used the wrong paint causing pyroclastic melting which requires a minimum of a 3 month curing period.
