Are they just a direct bolt on replacement for the current ones we have stock?

Looking at the pictures on their website...I’d say they are a bolt on replacement...

What am I missing here? What is the benefit of these over stock? Says "locks" in the thread title but I don't see any locking mechanism or understand why you would need them.

They replace the stock black plastic ones, ... for $200.

Geez... To each, his own I guess. I've seen quite a few overpriced aftermarket parts & accessories, but 2 bills for those seems way excessive. I guess I have no legitimate point here ;)... And I'm a knucklehead who's overspent on modifications & accessories!

They are probably stiffer and lighter, might help handling.

Is anyone experiencing issues with the stock ones? I know I have not.

Sometimes parts cost more than what you think due to several factors associated with the material selection and the manufacturing process. These just seem overpriced.

They look cool, I like the way they look. I am sure they feel good, also.

Everyone is experiencing the same with the stock ones. They don’t look nearly as badass as these do!

On the other hand, those look like the perfect type of part for a 3D Printer if you want something colorful and made of a different material.
