Anyone have a JL 4-door that they have added 17x8.5 wheels and 33” tires and can post up some pics and comments. Looking at possibly doing 2-2.5 in lift but wanted to see what the rims tires do 1st. Is there rub, so I need spacers, etc. Thank you in advance

Sport S, no lift. No change in ride quality for me. Speedometer off by about 2 to 3 MPH. No rubbing, but the only off roading I do right now is driving thru the streets of NYC.

For whatever it's worth the factory 245/75 tires that came on my sport measure exactly 32.0 in tall while mounted on the Jeep. I put the tape measure on a buddy's Rubicon and the factory Rubicon tires measure 32.2 in tall while on the Jeep. So there's little-to-no significant difference in size. It should be expected that the tires off of a Rubicon will fit perfectly on a Sport. if you really want to see a change you need to go on up to a 34 inch class tire like a 305/70 or 285/75.

Here's my pic's of JL. Changed the factory tyres with 33 KO2's. I also removed the fenders.

Will be soon adding 1.75" wheel spacers and teraflex 1.5" lift.

Sport S with rubicon wheels and tires. Essentially 33s no issues whatsoever.

Stock rubi wheels/tires on stock sport. Just need to remove the euro bumper thingies. Took it off road like this. Not long after, i installed rubi suspension for about 1.5” more lift. Much better looking and for off road

Hey love the look. How is the offroad performance, any issues with mild trails/forest roads? And how is the mpg compared to stock? Thanks

Thanks....

MPG is the same.
I am averaging 18.5-19.0 city.
Highway is the same, but since I drive 75-80 it is not nearly as good as if I cruised at 65 and did over 20-22mpg easily.

Highway this thing is amazing, it cruises easily at 75-80mph comfortably. Yesterday I was doing a steady 80mph (speedo is off by a bit so really 82-83mph) and it was steady and poised.

I have not had it off road, not even on the beach yet.

Climbs over curbs well and over grass, I always get blocked in at work, lol.
