Anyone have experience with Bushwacker Rocker Panel/Sill Plate Covers?

Hello All,

I want to add some sill plate covers and would also like to have something on the rocker/pinch weld areas.
I dont see myself needing true rock rails, but who knows.
I have to admit right now its mostly cosmetics on the rocker area.
I know we do not want anything that sticks out past the side of the door frame like steps or bars.

The Bushwacker rocker/sill covers seems to be what I am looking for.
From what I have read if I want to add true rock rails down the line I can still do it over the covers, is this true?.

I dont want anything that will wear the paint and create rust areas down the road.
I live on a saltwater bayou and anything not well coated rusts like mad.

Anyone have these on their JL or on previous Jeeps?

I really like mine. Here are some pictures with and without sliders on. One thing they don't tell you are there are 2 bolts on the pinch seam that make the sticky tape and guard not sit flush at the front of the vehicle. Most people just drill two holes there to make it sit flush.

I got a set of the Amp Research power running boards, which required me to remove the factory Rubicon rails. So, these Bushwacker rocker sills were perfect, to cover the area left visible by the Amp Research boards. They were easy to install, and now the exposed bolts are covered and clean.

I finally got the 2 Door version delivered.
They added some bumps where the 2 bolts are on the pinch seam so that issue has been solved.

Pretty happy with the look.

Adding another happy customer . Great product super easy instal and really cleans up the pinch area and has a built in stuff plate . The new version has bump outs for the body bolts too so fits perfect now
