Curious as to what people are paying for these. My dealer is selling them for $925. Asked them if I could use the 15% Mopar coupon and they said I could but I would have to have the dealer install them to use the coupon. Dealer charges $325 to install, which seems ridiculous.
$325 to install? Lmao. It takes all of 20 minutes to install these rails. Easiest install of a part you’ll ever do. Do NOT pay a dealer to install.

There are the bolts that fit up into the body at each of the three locations (vertical as you say), so you do have other support besides the (horizontal as you say) pinch seam bolts. The pinch seam will be fine either way as base Sports don't have anything on the pinch seams at all so a missing bolt won't matter.

I think you'll be fine. Is it driver or passenger?
I broke one off each - one on the passenger side and one on the driver side. Thanks for your feedback. Definitely makes sense. A few weeks later, the rails are both still very firmly secure. I don't foresee an issue.

I purchased from an online site for $756 with free shipping. Don't know the rules about posting links to sites that might be perceived as advertising, so I'll hold off. Suffice it to say I was satisfied with the purchase and installed myself in short order (albeit with the minor issue noted earlier in the thread).

I can find multiple websites at that price but none with free shipping. Any chance you could pm me the info?

So I like the concept of a very basic slider that acts as a step, but after seeing that these are very functional off-road I am not interested, can anyone recommend something clean like this that my kids can step on and won’t crumble off-road?

Are there any side steps/rails that can be installed in conjunction with the stock Rubi rails? Or do they need to be removed?

ACE makes rails that can be run with the OEM Rubi rock rails installed (does a nice job of hiding the pinch seam).

Thanks. I was looking at their web site. Do you need to first remove the Rubi rails, to use the OEM bolts? are there different mounting hole that the OEM Rubi ones?

The ACE rails tie in to the body/frame bolts. The Rubi rails tie in to the pinch seam. Easy to mount... just leave the rails in place.

They look great! Do you have the part number for the two door version? I need to place an order myself. Thanks!

I decided to go with these due to this thread. Looking for protection from flying rocks but don’t like the way steps look. Very pleased with how they look and how they are made.
Hi, could you please give me the exact height of the performance rock rails? And maybe could you take a picture from side on the height level, thanks! Uwe from Germany

I just installed them, it was easy and straight forward. Did it myself & took a little over an hour to do. First picture is with the original rock rails.

Thx for these pics... I am looking to add the "step" to my Rubicon but really like keeping everything looking "stock".. I think these accomplish this being from Mopar and look clean.. Where did you find them for a decent price? Thx.

Old trail but great info and pics in here. As far as these Mopar Performance Rock Rails as a step, can I estimate that the top of the step height will be about exactly where the top of the stock Rubicon Rock Rails are? Looks that way from some of the pictures.
