Is anyone planning on installing the Mopar Performance Rock Rails like the ones on the tricked out Mojito Rubicon? I kind of like them and may consider them whenever I take delivery of my Rubi.

I'd have to see them in person but doesn't look like they have a lot of width if you wanted to use them for people to get into a lifted Jeep. I had the ace sliders on my lifted jkur and loved them. They took a beating on the rocks and held up well too.

Looks like you'd have to delete the stock rubi rails first? Seems to me all wranglers should come with the rubi rails no matter what trim. It looks horrible with that pinch seem exposed. And, they complimented my ace sliders perfectly.

I ordered them, my wife uses the rails on my Recon when getting in, and I occasional have to help my Mother out and get her to Dr. appts., and without those I'd have to carry a milk crate in the bag, no really. I like the perforations in the Recon rails, and hope the bed liner finish on the smooth JL rails makes it so they are at least as close to as grippy on top. I'm not a fan of the Rubi rails, but that actually makes me kind of glad they aren't on all trim levels, makes mine worth something as take-offs.

Going to install something on the JLUR. Kids need a step there. But those look like they may be slippy.

Yell at me if this is hijacking, but can anyone point me to an aftermarket company that makes something almost identical to these? Research tells me they are crazy priced from Jeep...like a couple grand.

JK Recon, it's about 6" wide, perf, texturized.

Be sure and post a picture or two when you get the Mopar rock rails installed and tell us what you think of them.

How much are the mopar rails? I like the looks of the Recon set better. I need a step.

$925 MSRP. I too like the Recon rails, if they were a direct swap I'd take mine off the Recon before trading it in and put the JLUR rails on it, but no such luck :( I ordered the Mopar rails, may be in early next week they said, won't have the Jeep yet, but will be interested to see them in person.

I thought I read somewhere on here that ACE Engineering are fabricating a set of steps/sliders that will fit directly over the factory sliders on the Rubicon...? THOSE are what I would be interested in.

Ace ones look nice, but tubes arent great for little feet. New MOPAR ones look decent, but I can't tel if they are smooth (not ideal) and solid (also not ideal).

Hoping someone makes something like the hard rocks...lmk if anyone sees them :)

Did you order them online or from a Jeep dealer?
