Massachusetts takes all the fun out of vanity plates with their restrictions (below). Hardly makes it worth it.

"All vanity plates must begin with two letters. The plate can be no more than six characters, or a maximum of five characters for motorcycle plates. Vanity plates cannot have letters and numbers intermixed."

Mine arrived today The Plate patches the name on the hood. So happens Washington has a National Parks Plate that has black mountains as the background
