This was what I got the first time. It was missing the space between "E" and "J". According to my case manager at the DMV: SPU (Special Processing Unit) this happens a lot if you order online instead of in person.

I paid $50 for that "space" and I wanted what I paid for. 🤣

In the end my original plate (8LVS246) was probably fine and now I have to get used to this new one. Not sure if it was really worth the almost 11 month wait.

Wow, 11 months? That does suck...
In AZ the custom plates for both my truck and Jeep took about three weeks each.

We just have too many people in CA who want plates. :(

The population of just Los Angeles County (9.8 million) is bigger than the entire population of the state of Arizona (7.3 million). All in CA has about 40 million people and apparently we all want custom plates. 🤣

Damn...That is a lot people! I loved living there when I was stationed at Coronado Island-good times, good friends and fantastic weather!
