Anyone found drivable emergency rain top for JL yet

I have hard top only for my JL can’t find emergency top I can put on and get home dry anywhere. JK ones won’t work for JL I have seen. Anyone else have any luck. Thanks

Unfortunately we do not have any as of yet that you are able to drive with them on for the JL. I will pass this along to the design team however this may be in the works. I would keep an eye out for new covers to be released as time goes on as manufacturers are able to design and test them.

You will just need to choose 2 door JL from the drop down menu and it will give you all of the options for the 2 door.

Along the same lines as the blue tarp, but a bit better looking. If you can sew, or know a good seamstress or sail maker, you can buy waterproof nylon by the yard very inexpensively. Sew some webbing and/or grommets onto it for extra strength and for securing and have a relatively inexpensive alternative to hold off the rain. And if you have a sunshade already you might be able to use that as a starting point for a pattern. Just widen and lengthen it a bit for better coverage.

https://ripstopbytheroll.com sells several different kinds of waterproof nylon that might fit your needs.

That would work great with a little peep hole.

The alien sunshade that has a tighter weave has been good for me in the occasional rain shower. But I live in the desert and get very little rain in the summer months.

Yes, these will fit with the soft top folded down, or off of the Jeep completely.

We would not recommend doing that. We would say if you wanted to do that you would need to put a regular tarp over top of it with it tied down really well if you wanted to flat tow with it.
