Shelter in place. Quarantine or lockdown will not send me home. I work for the North Texas Water District and we supply 1.8 million people drinking water. My Lab works regardless to make sure our water is good to go every day. Water is a must to have.

Installed my lift over the course of a couple days.
Synergy 2” with track bars and control arms. Love it.

I was going to pay nearly $600 to have it installed. Figured if I took my time I could get it done step by step. Only tool I didn’t have was a spring compressor (thanks autozone free rentals).

So finished the Rockslide Engineering power step install this weekend. I was asked on this thread a couple of questions: Fit and finish on steps appears to be top notch I guess I will see how it holds up. You will need two people a couple of times during the install, just to big and heavy to do by yourself. Lastly the holes in the bottom of the Jeep are to small for the connectors so you will need a pin removal tool and silicone to seal it back up.

All that said I am loving them so far.

I really like their design. I almost pulled the trigger on them. But I can't get past their weight. Wish they did some aluminum version.

I agree on the weight but could not find anything else that fit everything I wanted in a step.

Just got in my RR Venator bumper and decided to install it along with Gear America shackles and a Smittybilt X2O 12k winch. Got the winch all hooked up just to find out it has a bad solenoid, switch, or both. Un-wrenched it and will be returning it to Summit in favor of the Badland Apex from HFT.

I've got a RR Arcus front bumper and Smittybuilt X20 12k winch to install, but I'm a work from home employee normally, so there really isn't any change to my routine. When I get a warm day off I'll get them installed.

Yes, just finished building a grinder stand for my big bench grinder and the little one I use for grinding tungsten electrodes for tig welding. I also just finished up the build of a long-time project: building a scissor legs stand for my welding table -- I got a great deal on a 3/8" sheet of steel at the scrap yard and have been wanting to build a collapsible welding table out of it. One and a half years later, that is now done.

Next, once the welding table legs are painted and the sheet is bolted on, I'm going to build an aluminum lockable storage drawer for the rear cargo area. I have the back seat removed and I'm going to keep all my recovery gear and tools and other stuff in that storage. I have the upgraded audio system and the sub woofer is in the rear cargo floor so I need to get creative with the drawer layout.

Then its going to be a soft top next, I think.

I may also fiddle with the steering:
Check torque of all steering components.
Do battery disconnect and reconnect/steering cycle thing.
If that doesn't help, I may adjust the slack in the steering box.
And then if that doesn't help I may do the Synergy bracket.

I installed a winch in my Roam Offroad bumper. I still need to figure out where I'm going to put the selonoid.

Nice job on installing it yourself but you really don’t need spring compressors when installing suspensions on a Jeep. Just loosen up the control arm bolts and drop the axle far enough to where the spring is easily removed.

Installed a Voswitch JL200. Probably one of easiest things I’ve ever installed on a vehicle before.

Did this one on Friday - bolted on a used JK hitch picked up off Craigslist. Last week when it was really warm I knocked the loose rust off it, then hit it with Rustoleum Rust Inhibitor primer and semi-gloss black spray paint. Easiest mod ever! Also helped my son install a new radio in his KJ - we finally have Bluetooth for phone calls and music.

Here in NJ, schools are now closed indefinitely, so it looks like I'll be working from home for a while.I guess if I find a great deal on some wheels and tires I might be persuaded to install the Rubicon springs and shocks I have in storage LOL.

That was the case with my factory springs but there was no way I was going to get the axle low enough to get the synergy springs in using jack stands and a floor jack.

I see... taller jack stands may come in handy for you in the future.

I use 6 ton jack stands and a floor jack and have done several lifts using the same setup. I have used spring compressor before on other suspension installs and I just try to avoid them if I could. They work, it just feels like a ticking time bomb :time::please::whew:
