I like that you've said that about 50 times now and people just keep speculating... A competitor for sasquatch package was the most likely thing anyway, especially with Ford just now delivering to dealers.
If 47 is going to be the approach angle, why wouldn't Jeep have used a front license plate snapshot in today's tweet?

Jeep bests Bronco thanks to its all-new Xtreme Recon package. Available on Wrangler 4-door and Wrangler Rubicon 392 models, Xtreme Recon adds LT315/70R17C (35-inch) BF Goodrich KO2 All-Terrain Tires, 17-inch x 8-inch Beadlock Capable Wheels, 4.56:1 Axle Ratio, and 1.5-inch Factory Suspension Lift with uniquely tuned shocks.
Wonder what the cost is...since the 392 already has all of that but the gears and tires. Plus...they already skipped 4.10, but will do 4.56? Unlikely.

And optional 4.88's

This Wrangler-from-the-factory with 35s is capable of some impressive stuff thanks to its industry-first 100:1 crawl ratio when owners specify the optional 4.88:1 axles.

Seems like the press materials state that the package comes with 4.56 / 35" tires with an option for 100:1 crawl ratio "when customers opt for the 4.88 option" so it sounds like they're opening up factory gearing options for those who want it. 4.10s are unfavorable in the first place for customers who are going right to 35s or 37+ tires, and regearing aftermarket is a pain after having gone through a failed regear by a local shop myself.

The 392 might get near a second faster 0-60 ;)

If the gears were an option last Fall, I would have probably had them. Depends on the package cost, which I expect won't be cheap. I'd rather have just the gears, maybe the wheels.

Can you imagine if this was some lame CAFE-related number game? 40.whatever MPG? gee..... be still my beating heart.

Like everyone else, I got sick of “X-TREEEEME!!!!!” marketing a decade ago but I’ll take that over some boring fuel economy news.

If this is real I think I figured out the 100:1 crawl ratio, and I doubt it will be available with the 392 (at least not without some very restrictive 4-low tuning)

4.88:1 axle, 5.13:1 manual first gear, 4:1 transfer case = 100.1376:1 crawl ratio.

They do like to skip the fine print. Just like they tout the JT as best in class towing (*sotto voice* "4x4, automatic, pentastar, Sport S with Max Tow").
