Anyone else’s 2.0 sound like it knocks?

Just sounds like it has a faint knock. Almost like a rod or bearing.

Also wonder if yours seems like it lunges forward hard when put into drive.

I think I know what your talking about but mine goes away when its warmed up and has idled down. The lunge forward thing? Nope.

I think the knock is normal. mine has sounded like that for 48K miles.

It’s gotta be something to do with the direct injection cause once it’s warmed up it doesn’t sound like it knocks anymore. These 2.0s are also noisy in general. Like a mini diesel engine
