My wife and I are definitely considering a Jeep Gladiator. Anyone else in the same boat?
To each his own but that gladiator looks lame, even the Rubicon model, it can't hold a candle to the JL. Went to dealer and looked at the Overlander model, if someone gave it to me I'd trade it for a JL in the blink of en eye.

Now the images of the two door model look inviting.

Well, looking at mid-size trucks, they all have some issues:these are things I found in reviews and on forums - ok
Toyota - weird seating position, cheap interior, transmission needs serious reprogramming and drum brakes
Nissan - great if you like the 90"s, c'mon Nissan
Chevy-GMC - 8 speed transmission has problems
Ford - pieced together crap and total fail
Jeep - price and the same issues affecting JL's may be in there too
So what do you get? I'm glad I'm NOT in the market for any!

My Rubicon JT is on order and in D1 status purgatory waiting on a scheduled build date.

I test drive one and it was so smooth. Now of course I have a 2 door, but they drove completely different. Yeah yeah longer wheel base. But it was awfully nice. I just have no true need for bed. Looks better in person too. But I'd still love a 2 door version :like:

My dealer has 2 on the lot. An Overland and a Rubicon. Gorgeous leather interiors on both.
The Rubi, on 285/70/17s, looks very capable and cool.
The Overland, on skinny highway tires, looks silly.
Both look loooong.
I’m good.

Very Tempting, but right now the available Gladiators are fully loaded out and way out of my price range. This one is close to 61 Grand MSRP. I'll stick with the Wrangler for now.

No, I'm very happy with my JLU. However, if the gladiator would have been out when I purchased my JLU, I'd likely gravitate towards it, but I'm not going to give up my awesome Rubicon for a new vehicle so soon. I think the Gladiator would be a good platform for setting up an RTT in the back more easily, tho.

I plan on trading in my 2019 Punk'n JLUR for a Gobe Gladiator.

Nothing new for me though. I tend to go through 1-2 jeeps a year. Last year I did 3 which is a record for me lol.
Unless your independently wealthy, that makes no sense to me. And I thought I was bad getting a new vehicle every 3 years or so. I simply cannot get beyond the 3-year mark for some reason anymore. But I'm gonna work hard at this JLU to hit 5

If only it had a big pass thru to the bed. And maybe a camper shell. Wait, now it’s an LJ :movember:

Interesting. Never heard anyone complain the taco crewcabs look too long. I think they just wear it better. The gladiators look odd with the way the bed sits
