I am having trouble deciding between 35s and 37s for my new jlu and have been pondering running 35s for DD and 37s or 38s for when I do harder trails like Moab

Can I ask the obv question. If you're going to run 2 sets, why incur the worse ride quality and fuel economy of running 35's as your DD? Totally makes sense to keep a pair of larger tires for offroading, but why not have a more comfortable ride for your DD?

I like the look of a bigger tire plus I can do a lot of moderate trails without the change over

My wife runs 2 sets of tires, a mud terrain and an all terrain in the winter, the only issue is storage as they take up a lot of room in the shed. ( no garage here)

I plan to DD on 33s and 35s for offroad. Quite a difference in mpg and prolongs my MTs

I used to years ago but I found it squashed the impromptu day of wheeling because of the swap. Also got tired of storing and extra set in the garage.

How did you handle the TPMS changes?

I saved my stock sport AT wheels/tires when I picked up a set of Rubicon MT takeoffs, but haven't swapped them once yet. I thought I would "keep the miles off" but takeoffs are so cheap and likely to stay that way with JTR's now around that I'm just going to keep getting takeoffs as they wear down.

I plan to!

Keeping the K02's for winter and getting some KM3's for summer (probably 35's while we're at it)

It all depends on if you’re okay with how it will look running smaller tires. Being setup to wheel is more than just tires. Large fender gaps give the look of the trucks that run on the rail lines.

As far as TPMS xmitters go, you don't need them !

Just run the new wheels/tires/without TPMS INSTALLED-- RUN at least 20mph for 15 minutes and the ECU(computer)DISABLES THE SYSTEM, so all you'll get on startup is the LOWTIRE ICON--and no alarms--

The display will show in RED and say "NO TIRE PRESSURE AVAILABLE"

I run a set of snows in the winter, and plan on running a set of 33s in the summer.
