I was just checking under the bonnet this afternoon and next to the battery I look down the side and see x2 bolts just resting there on a ledge.
My car is a UK car that I bought brand new from my local Jeep dealership so it’s not from a previous owner modifying.

Does anyone have any idea why they are there or where they could be from?

I suspect left there from factory?
OR perhaps when car PDI’d and battery connected?

Random excess bolts from the assembly line. Happens all the time. During the build process, the occasional bolt/s or other small parts get dropped into the vehicle.

Good to know that the Wrangler assembly line is no different to the old Land Rover Defender line :CWL::CWL:
Perhaps they are the cause for the numerous reports of vague steering 😱 (Only joking).
