Did you ask your dealer service department?

No clue what the sound is, but your dash looks completely unlike any other JL dash configuration Iā€™ve seen. How did you get the analog look gauges in the top corners?

That's just the Sport dash, you get it by being cheap.

Ah! Iā€™ve never seen a partially analog gauge cluster in a JL. Here I was thinking I could change up the corners of the cluster in ways I didnā€™t know about.

It sounds like there's a poorly grounded alarm under the hood or under the dash, but it definitely isn't factory. Take it back to the dealer and have it removed/fixed.

Does your Jeep have one of those dealer installed/non-optional anti-theft devices? The ones I've seen are by KARR.

that's the alarm for instability in the flux capacitor. Add more plutonium.

you're welcome.

no wait, maybe add less plutonium. I forget. Oh well, what's a few neutrons between friends...

called the dealer. It was the GPS tracking unit, that they forgot to deactivate. Able to turn it off remotely while on phone.

Does the dealer plan to remove this hidden GPS-tracking unit? Some dealers as reported in this forum install GPS-tracking devices so that if a purchaser defaults on his/her auto loan, the dealer knows where to come to repo the vehicle. Some owners have found the devices and removed them, as these owners never agreed to have a secret tracking device in their vehicle.

Whether voluntary or involuntary, it's certainly an invasion of privacy, in my opinion.

If they're both Atoms, I guess it's fusion. :giggle:

I doubt most dealerships care if you default on the loan. Used dealerships where they actually hold the loan might, but otherwise it's the bank's problem.
But yeah it should be easy enough to remove if you find it. Heck, I'd take it out and sell it. It's in your Jeep, it's yours to sell.
