Thanks! I searched subject lines only for proximity. The thread you referred me to has "passive" in it. Again, thanks. VERY helpful to read this.
Well, mine works just fine... I'm glad I got the option.I think this is the worst $300cdn (don't know the usd cost) I've spent. It only works on entry and does not automatically lock on exit like every other keyless system I've encountered. For me, exit is where I need it most. When coming back from the store, laden with bags, it's a pain to have to fish out he fob and manually lock the doors. The alternative is to use the locking buttons on the door handles, which are even more frustrating. I have a 20% chance of it working on the first try. Most often, it takes at least 5 seconds to analyze whether the fob is still in the vehicle leaving me mashing that stupid button to no effect until it determines it's safe to lock.
I also have this same issueI like it but sometimes i have trouble using the pill to lock the doors. The other day i had to pull the fob out of my pocket and push lock as it would not respond to me pushing the door button. Other times i have to push it 2 or 3 times. Unlock i have never had any issues with, works every time.
