I wasn't sure I needed it at first when ordering but glad I got it in the end. It works very well and I got used to it pretty quickly. Its nice not having to pull out the key getting in or out.

THE SYSTEM WORKS GREAT.

To unlock the door grab the door handle (ONLY)

To lock the door push the button (ONLY)

If you grab the handle and push the button your door will do (nothing).

You have to do one or the other.

TRY IT WORKS VERY WELL.

I think this is the worst $300cdn (don't know the usd cost) I've spent. It only works on entry and does not automatically lock on exit like every other keyless system I've encountered. For me, exit is where I need it most. When coming back from the store, laden with bags, it's a pain to have to fish out he fob and manually lock the doors. The alternative is to use the locking buttons on the door handles, which are even more frustrating. I have a 20% chance of it working on the first try. Most often, it takes at least 5 seconds to analyze whether the fob is still in the vehicle leaving me mashing that stupid button to no effect until it determines it's safe to lock.

Well, mine works just fine... I'm glad I got the option.

No, it does not automatically lock when I walk away but I knew that before I opted to order the option.

Well I had had a few problems with mine but hopefully today it’s fixed.

Service guy found one of the antennas that it uses wasn’t even connected. Hopefully that will take care of it and info if your having the same gremlin I was.

I like it but sometimes i have trouble using the pill to lock the doors. The other day i had to pull the fob out of my pocket and push lock as it would not respond to me pushing the door button. Other times i have to push it 2 or 3 times. Unlock i have never had any issues with, works every time.

I've had a ford and 2 GMs also with the prox locks. The jeep ones work as good or better than my other vehicles. Not perfect but about 95 percent of the time they do the job right.

Really miss not having proximity locks! I thought all cars came with them and didn’t realize my Jeep didn’t until I brought it home :(
