Anyone know why FCA made these parts different for the Sport? Seems kinda stupid and a waste of money.

I think it was supposed to increase gas mileage for daily drivers.

Removed, trimmed and reinstalled to protect fog light wiring & connection. Looks factory original.

Not to deviate here but I h ave a JLUR with the steel bumper group. The exposed wires on the backside have bothered me but I thought it was normal. I like the idea of covering the backside like several have done above.

Has anyone covered up the wiring on their JLUR with these pieces?

They add the pieces for the Euro regulations. The gap is too large for their rules.

I purchased Part # 6KL10RXFAA 6KL11RXFAA to cover up the open wires for an OEM factory finish.

If anyone is just simply removing these and tossing them, I'm interested in buying an extra set to trim in case I mess it up or don't like how it looks.

Hey Sport/S owners - have you removed those 2 "air dams" or "splash guard" huge plastic pieces the sit between the front bumper and fenders? And/or did you also remove the lower air dam below the bumper? I don't like the looks of the fender ones and I'm afraid all I'm going to end up breaking that lower air dam when off-roading anyhow.

Would like to see pics if possible. I watched a video on it but they had it on a lift with the wheels off so couldn't get a good feel for how it would look in the end. Also - would that void the warranty in any way?? I would hate to give the dealer any excuse to get out something potentially needing warranty coverage. Albeit they could easily be put back on.

And yes - did a full search first and didn't find anything. Thanks!
If you would like to swap out the bumper for my Rubicon plastic bumper, let me know. It could save you some cutting and get some LED fog lights.

I purchased this too, but it doesn't fit flush, so I removed them. I'll have to cut out from the original OEM's.

Surprised no aftermarket companies have offered a pre-trimmed replacement for those of us with no time/tools.....
Seems like a decent side hustle for a forum member. I'd definitely buy a pre-trimmed set.

All it takes is a razor knife, 7mm socket wrench, a kitchen table, and MAYBE an hour to trim both sides and refasten. C'mon, guys...
