Anyone else seeing this?

Anyone have a solution for it??

I would guess you can pull the seat belt through the bottom of the seat and into the back of the cargo area a little bit - it should create enough tension to prevent the flapping.

Just a guess though - I haven't tried it.

Too damn hot to be topless right now in Northern California. I am a pansy.

lol what do people expect with this JL or a Wrangler in general? It isn't an SUV of comfort or luxury. I just deal with it and the music up higher.

I hear ya. This is my 3rd Wrangler (still have my 05 TJUR and 09 JKUR) and there are ways to stop any recurring noise like that. I am not expecting it to be rattle free, but when it is flapping and rubbing on the leather and leaving a mark, I get perplexed. I want this Wrangler to last just as long as the other ones.

But it is a great stereo!!

Just tried this. I’ll see how it goes on the freeway tomorrow. (You can also see the marking it has done on my seat with the flapping )

Does this not work to instantly and cleanly solve the problem? Does it flap while fastened?
I will check, but I doubt it will. When fastened, it will still be running across the entire seat with the possibility of the wind flapping it excessively now that the doors are off.

Just got my new two door soft top Saturday and the back seat belt flapping is pretty loud, I just turn up the music! Lol. I fastened the belts but didn’t help. Curious to know what others have done to fix this issue?
