Curious if anyone has bought or got a bit more in depth on the new razr ATs. I've been looking at the 37x12.5x17, supposedly comes in around 73lbs a tire(so not far off from a k02) But the razr AT seems more like a hybrid than a full AT like the KO2s.

8 ply, D load.

It's a hybrid tire......I have them in 40x13.5x20. Excellent road manners......and much better than a KO2 in the mud. They even come with

Limited treadwear warranty50,000 mi.LT sizes
60,000 mi.P-metric sizes

This tire is my street / light-med trail tire.......and they balanced with very little weight.

How do they perform in the snow?

My buddy works at a tire distributor and swears by Razr ATs. He's had them on 2 different 2500 GMCs and LOVES them. He can also get me a smoking deal vs Falken Wildpeaks.

I may get some 295/70/17s for my F150 and if I like them, I may get some of the lighter duty285/70s for the wife's Wrangler.

I was curious if the stated weight is actually true. If so, its 2nd in the weight line up, with only KO2s beating it.

37s are stating 73lbs or so. So I'm guessing no more than 75lbs, so less than a cooper as well, but much more aggressive, id say comparable to a nitto ridge grappler.

I'm still torn between the razr ATs and cooper STTs.

Cooper's will be more aggressive.

Weight is within 1-2lbs of each other. My only concern is some people saying they're having wear issues on them, like 20k miles and they're already heavy wear.

Try browsing some other forum reviews and you might find some more like I did.

There's a big thread on Tacoma World but it's mostly people running stock sizes. There's one guy with the 35x11.50 but I don't think he's done much more than post a couple pics.

Those tires aren't really comparable, the STT Pros are an aggressive mud/rock tread and the Maxxis ATs are more of a hybrid based tire. The Maxxis MTs would be the ones to compare to the STT Pros. Also keep in mind the ATs will have a much shallower tread depth.

Can't really go wrong w/ the STTs IMO.

100% agree. I don't really enjoy playing in the mud, that's why the thought of razr ATs crosses my mind.

But then I always have the question "what if?"

Better Safe than sorry situation I suppose lol
