Here is my stock 2019 Rubicon 4 door. Wander is DANGEROUS. Dealer has had it for a week so far and doesnā€™t have any idea how to tackle it. Truck is in Carmel NY just waiting and waiting.
Has anyone gotten any positive from a dealer?
Check my video, itā€™s terrible...

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Yikes^^^can't be fun white-knuckling that down the road!

5k miles on 19 JL Sport S, steering is spot-on w/ stock tires/wheels and 295/70/17s w/ aftermarket wheels, no issues at several pressures that I've run. Stock tires are at 40 psi since they're the soccer-mom Michelins and the 295 Patagonias I run at 30psi since they are E-load rated. Hopefully those that are having issues get this fixed to your satisfaction.

Dealership has had it one week and with no clue how to fix it. They claim to have sent that video to FCA as well...

Very sorry to see that you and some other fellow JL Wrangler Forum members are experiencing steering and/or wobbling issues. That was and remains one of my key concerns before and after having ordered my Jeep JLU Rubicon. As an update to my JLUR purchased on April 8, 2019 (built on Feb. 19, 2019), I've been very fortunate to date by not experiencing any steering/wobbling problems. I have kept the vehicle in stock fashion. This is a testament that FCA can indeed build Jeep Wranglers that operate as designed, namely, no wandering and/or wobbling challenges. After a short break-in period of 317 miles driving below 55 mph, I drove cross country with a U-Haul trailer in tow (about 2,000 lbs. in total weight) from Washington, DC to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The trip added another 2,580 miles to the odometer over a 7 day period. Prior to my road trip, I reduced the cold tire pressure on my stock KO2 down to 36 psi. This lowering eliminated the "slight wandering" that I had experienced when the cold tire pressure was still at 39 psi. I kept my speed below 65 mph before hitting 1,000 miles. After the odometer hit 1,000 miles, I had more flexibility in varying my highway speeds. My average fuel mileage over the approximate 2,900 miles (while towing a trailer for most of it) was 18.7 mpg.

In summary, my Jeep encountered many expansion joints over bridges and roadways, rough roads in many areas, steep uphill grades and 10 degree descents down many hills. With a 2,000 lbs. U-Haul trailer being towed behind me, to my delight, my Jeep operated flawlessly. The steering remains true today with no wandering/wobbling, nor any dead spots. I couldn't possibly imagine driving such a long distance, while towing a 2,000 lbs. trailer, if I had to flight the vehicle and trailer as well to keep it tracking straight. Fortunately, I didn't have to. The UConnect Navigation system operated superbly throughout my 2,897 miles, while the Sirius Satellite Radio was a joy to have, especially when traveling through wilderness areas. All the electronics and mechanical components operated as designed and intended. I hope FCA can apply this quality engineering in manufacturing all its Jeep Wranglers and truly remedy those vehicles already out there that are not operating as originally designed.

Had my Jeep in the dealership today for its first oil change, tire rotation, UConnect software update and general 16 point check-up. Although I can't predict the future, I hope my Jeep provides me with years of fun and trouble free service when coupled with scheduled maintenance check-ups.

Haha. Iā€™m glad some have no steering issues. If I take my hands off the wheel for 0.01 seconds....I die.

Iā€™m truly sorry to hear that. I hope that your dealership coupled with FCAā€™s input, will remedy your situation.
Do you and/or any Forum members know the most current or updated steering component part numbers, such as drag link, tie rod, etc.? After crawling under my Jeep, I was able to verify that my vehicle has the most updated track bar installed on it. This may be one key component that has helped me avoid steering/wobbling issues so far. Good luck in getting a resolution.

If you really feel that way , get rid of it ASAP and drive your GT500. Itā€™s not worth your life no matter what financial loss you may take. you obviously have money so donā€™t try to win an argument with strangers on the Internet or with FCA. concern yourself with your life and your safety. If what youā€™re saying is true you would have to be very very irresponsible to continue to drive it or take any family members in it. Death is forever. Put your big boy pants on and get rid of that thing.

I would, but mud tires rub on the Shelby.

Please tell me you found a fix? I just bought my first ever car, a JLU Sahara 4dr 2019, about 6 days ago. I canā€™t tell you how disappointed I am. After driving my parentsā€™ Escalade/7 series, I noticed that the drive wasnā€™t as smooth(kinda wobbly) and it was kinda noisy inside during the first 3 days but I got over it cause the car was just too sexy and still fun(ish) to drive . Then it started to snow and I decided to try out the 4H and was so impressed. 2 days later Iā€™m headed out to Maine from Toronto (10 hour drive) and Iā€™m on the highway and it felt like the wind hitting against the windshield was about to blow away the car because of how wobbly it got. I thought the car just has bad aerodynamics (no actual wind outside) but then I almost got a heart attack cause I felt like the car was gonna flip over when I was going over a bridge. Almost like someone was using the ā€˜forceā€™ on my car. I try keeping the speed under 55mph when it hit me that maybe using 4H few nights ago did something so I slowed down, switched from 2H to 4H and back again to 2H and it drove better than before but the wobbles are stil there. Iā€™ve been on the forums for the last 2 hours and peopleā€™s solution is to spend their own $ on a brand new $50k car and even then there is like 10 different parts that could be the problem. I wish it was all sarcasm but too much detail. I canā€™t go back to the dealership because Iā€™m in Portland, Maine for the next 6 months. Someone please help me because this feels like a nightmare. Its my first car for Godā€™s sake and itā€™s brand new!!!!
Basically my same story.

Everything is up to date but it just wanders. My buddy picked up a new rubicon today and has the same issues

May I ask your production date, if you know it? Any suspension modifications or is it still stock condition? Have you reduced your tire pressure down to 31-35 psi?

I hate to ask you a silly question. Did you and/or your friend reduce your tire pressure down to a range of 31-35 psi cold? I had a minor level of wandering (both left and right) myself as soon as I left the dealership. I ended up reducing my tire pressure from 41-42 psi down to 39 psi before leaving the dealership. After getting home, I further reduced the tire pressure down to 35-36 psi after the tires cooled down over night, as per several Forum members recommendations. All my wandering disappeared. Surprisingly, my Jeep tracks straight, has no dead spots, and no longer wanders at all. Put in about 317 miles on it during break-in period before I drove cross country (2,580 miles) towing a 2,000 lbs U-Haul trailer. To my surprise, I am pleased to say that it drove very well. I am use to driving German SUVs and cars for many years. Although my new Jeep requires "slightly more" adjustments/corrections to the steering while driving, my wife and I were able to drive the vehicle through the 2,580 miles quite easily, even up to 75 mph once the vehicle was fully broken in (above 1,000 miles on the odometer). We hit a large number of expansion joints and rough roads during our trek, but my Jeep is still functioning as designed. Wish you and your friend well as you and FCA tries to identify the culprit for your steering wandering challenges.
