My guess is that a well cared for Tuscadero will probably be more valuable on the used market in 20+ yeas. Boring/common color combinations are generally never quite as valuable as time goes on.
I agree. The number of people who want one will only grow as time passes, and the number of them available will only decrease. I really hope it is a very limited run.

I was going to get a Sarge until the lady saw the tuscadero and now I'm happy that I ordered it for us. Mostly becasue everyone I show it to hates the color and that just makes me like it even more. I was really hoping it would be the only one up North, but it seems that others have joined in what I was hoping would be a lot rarer of a thing that it ended up being. We'll see once it's "built" next week, if that date holds is the " " reason

Chomping at the bit for Tuscadero to be offered on the Gladiator. On the actual real life pictures I see Magenta, though it does lean slightly Pink. Nothing at all like those early artist renditions on the Jeep site.
I like the color so much that I may just keep my F-350 and get a Wrangler. Was wanting to replace it and my Sahara with one vehicle since I’m fixing to ride off into reFirement! You DoD and government employees know what I’m talking about…

Hoping my granddaughter gets it after my demise anyway so she will enjoy the color.

With it being Magenta I was thinking a good humorous personalized plate for it would be MANGENTA, but my plate has the little blue man on it and we can’t personalize those here in California. If someone else wants to use it I’ll gladly sell you the rights to it.🤣

Yep, Furious Fuchsia on the Mopar cars. Same paint code.

We picked up my wife’s rubicon yesterday and the only thing keeping me from driving it is her🤣🤣. As soon as we pulled in the lot we were both like WOW, this color looks awesome. Totally different in the sun vs shade. The amount of attention it gets is unreal, from the ladies and the guys, think I saw a few whiplashes occur on the way home and many smiles.

Yep! 2022 Rubicon XR is slowly in the works. Saw the color in person the other day on a Sport model and it was honestly a little darker/duller in the shade than I thought it would be. The second that sun hits though it absolutely POPS. Looking forward to getting it.

It’s the pearl in it that gives it the pink look when the sun hits it.

It reminds me of my father-in-law and his unwillingness to ever wear a pink shirt because, ya know, somebody somewhere might think he was a girly man. Then, one day, we are both riding in a hotel elevator and Eddie George steps in looking sharp as ever in a crisp, pink dress shirt. 100% baller.

That's how I view a Tuscadero Rubi - as exuding Eddie George-like BDE.

Taking it one step further, this is how you could pay for that XR markup: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...s1-000-year-more-those-who-don-t-8343364.html
