It should be very simple to drill hole over hard top and diy some roof rack.
I am thinking use T-slot aluminum track, which is thick enough for strength and the T slot component is so easy to mount light or cross bars.
The 40mm one seems bit weak, but the double T slot should have more strength than typical aftermarket design.
I understand hardtop roof has limited loading capacity, so my rack will be bolt on the top and handle kayak or roof top luggage stuff.
Also with the rack built on the top, I can hang the top in garage by lifting the rack not from the bottom of the hardtop.
