I was just curious to see how many of you had to take your jeep back because of a repair. Moreso, I was curious to poll which type had the most defects or if it was an even number split between all styles. (for instance if the sport had more issues than Rubicon )

Factory recalls dont count :). This is legit problems/defects with your jeep.

Took my JLUR to the dealership for a broken center console latch. The part has been on order for the past month. Was told that others had the same issue and parts on order.

I have had my Sport S back to the dealer 2 times for the rear defrost wire coming unsoldered. Hopefully the 3rd glass is the charm. Other than that, no defects.

I voted 'Sahara'.
Passenger side Defroster wire came off. They fixed the next day (3 months ago) , It took them 20min, and still holding strong through plenty of daily freezing cold weather use.

You know almost all parts on the different models are identical right?

I have a Moab, so of course not. I assume that's why you didn't put it on the list of options. :giggle:

 I was wondering how long I could dangle that one out there!!!
It's like saying a sport and a sport s are different. One has power locks and windows, thats it.

Well..... technically speaking a Moab is closer to a Rubicon than a Sahara. You'd have to add fewer parts to it to make it a Rubicon compared to how many you'd have to remove from it to make it a Sahara.

Edit - I will concede that on paperwork it is listed as a Sahara, but that's probably more of a marketing thing. They pretty much have to call it a "Sahara with a bunch of cool stuff", they probably shouldn't market it as a "Rubicon without a couple of pieces that would help with extreme off-roading".

Rubicon parts on a Moab (not on a Sahara):
Shocks
Hood
Steel front Bumper

Rubicon parts not on a Moab:
Rock-trac transfer case
E-disco
D44 front axle
Lockers on both axles
Steel rear bumper
