Can confirm- Yes, you can fit 5, 35”’s.
I referenced this thread before going to pick up 5, 35x12.5x18 nitto mud grapps mounted on 18x9 fuel boost rims.
Brought a hitch mount carrier just in case, although didn’t need it.
here’s what I did-
-passenger seat moved forward all the way/seat back forward so it was pretty much vertical
-drivers seat- forward almost all the way, just enough room to be able to contort my 6’4” frame into the drive position
-back seats folded down
-lined the back with cardboard slip sheets to avoid tire marks
-loaded 3 tire/wheels in parallel to Jeep running lines (straight forward)
-2x4 to hold em in place
-2 tires/wheels loaded behind the other 3, perpendicular to the running lines of Jeep (sideways)
-ratchet strapped the furthest back wheel around the rear roll bar frame to hold it all snug
-shut gate.
-popped a Motrin
-hauled ass at 80 mph back across the stateline
4 hour turn and burn .... the ride back was less than ideal for comfort, but the thoughts of the pending build specifics on my stock JLU Sahara coming to fruition had me totally forgetting about the total loss of rear view and feeling in my lower extremities
