Any chance of a rear cubby expansion like you did for the JK?

A lot of people I know, including myself, use the Borla Rock Crawler exhaust which solves the problem.

Question, does the old 'tub' simply come out or does it have to be cut out?

The JK was cut out, a template came with the drop in storage compartment, look over on the JK forum for this, very nice mod to have

Thanks for sending the Borla exhaust tip. I'll check it out.

The JL tub is very different than the JK tub. The JK tub was a cut out and I'm guessing the JL will be the same.

Since it looks like no one is making an upgraded cubby, it looks like I'll have to work on making one. I'm surprised with as long as the JL is out, no one has made one yet.

This is my understanding and one option that will be put into the mix.
Anybody else have interest in a muffler delete kit? It's loud...
I'm interested.

I have been running the Dynomax muffler delete and don't find it too loud. I have a manual transmission and it was difficult to hear the engine RPM with the stock muffler. With just the resonator and Dynomax pipe it's a bit louder than I would like, but not bad at all.

Here’s a pic of the JL. Way easier then the JK! I hope to get my Jeep by the end of the summer, and this will be one of the first things I work on. I’ll probably just sell on Ebay as I’m a one man band. Can someone with a muffler delete post a few pics looking straight up where the muffler was?

I’m picking up my new Jeep either this weekend or next. I’ll update here as I progress.
