Ya, Google maps shows 35 and 95. Who knows.

I usually go from Old Dial to Hwy 60 and then hit Skeenah Gap rd.
Skeenah Gap Road is paved, correct?

Maybe. I should have said West Skeenah Rd. I think its FS 640. When you get to Hwy 60 on FS 95(ar maybe its FS35 deiending on the map) turn left and West Skeenah/FS640 is on the right

Probably still pretty wet up there in the morning?
Will probably be a little damp. I live about 8 miles from the lower end of Horseshoe Ridge and it rained 3" over last night and today at my house. It should sure keep the dust down. :like:

Johnny

Saw your big mud pool at the top of horseshoe ridge. Being alone, I turned around. I’ve been stuck in mud alone before. I hate mud.

Perfect weather lately to hit Beasley Knob. I would advise you not to do it when it is wet. There are some very steep sections that turn sketchy quickly after a good rain. Also, the forest service has been known to close the trails for a day or two after a good rain event so it's best to call before you head that way. If I hear of anyone looking to ride I will let you know.

I was up at Beasley Knob last weekend. I ran everything but 93B in a stick height JLUR. A lot of the waterbars wre really steep cut and lots of scraping (not enough breakover angle), but otherwise doable.

It should stay dry this week and Beasley will be nice. Make sure you get a permit. A the info on Beasley is here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/conf/recarea/?recid=10533

Hey y'all saying hello from NE Atlanta, Lilburn, GA. Great thread here thanks for all the great information.

I user to have a 2017 Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and took it up to Outdoors in the Smokies near Gatlinburg. Highly recommended! Dan the owner is a great instructor and the 40 acres of Jeep trails are great. No ATV or Side by sides allowed. They are hoping to get one of their trails added to the Jeep Badge of Honor program soon.

Finally got my JL. 80th Anniversary Sport S here.
