Any aftermarket under-hood mods that use the Engine Beauty Cover mounting brackets?

"Engine Beauty Cover" - that is literally on the ID sticker underneath that plastic piece.

I replaced my Sahara's front grill silver trim pieces with plain black trim, and wondered what else I could mess with under the hood while it was open. I took off the Engine Beauty Cover, and then the brackets that keep it place, because, yeah, I owe Dom a lightweight 10-second car.


As I was looking at the oil-catch can in the corner of the garage waiting to be installed, it crossed my mind that the aftermarket may use these EBC brackets for...I dunno - what? Are there any aftermarket mods that use the EBC mounts?

You think they may be a handy place to mount a Cucaracha Horn?

So the " Modesty Cover" can be removed, is it just for noise abatement ? I would think engine heat dissipation would improve too.
