I've been wondering something about the 4.88 equipped Jeeps, what gas mileage rating does the window sticker say? Is it slightly below the normal 20 Combined / 17 City / 25 Highway? Does the engine feel like it's revving too high in 6th at speed? While I think it's nothing short of awesome that the factory is offering the 4.88 gears, I sure wish they took it one step further and offered 35" tires to go along with them.
Here's my window sticker with 4:88's

Thanks. Since I wrote that post I took delivery of mine. :) I can say that 20 MPG around town is completely accurate with 35 inch tires and the speedometer re-calibrated, never below 5,200 feet elevation. I have yet to take any kind of road trip on it, so no idea if the 25 MPG highway number is realistic.

Awesome! Congratulations on the delivery. This is great information, thank you for sharing. I'm still waiting to take delivery of mine as we speak. I can't wait to get behind the wheel of this thing.

I am lifted and can get 18.5mpg with summer fuel and more like 17mpg on winter blend.

Highway, I went to Moab and got 16.5 out but 18(ish) coming back. Keep it below 65 and you might do a bit better. Not seeing 20mpg with my thirsty girl.

No sexy background, just the neighbors house. Still under 1k miles and I feel like the clutch is finally starting to break in.

My JKU Rubi I had for 10 years, I was sooo incredibly used to that clutch lol.

My 2018 JLR is WAY different clutch feel than my 2009 JK! It took me awhile to get used to it but 71,000 plus miles later I could not imagine going back to the JK, the JL is way superior. That said, I do miss the direct linkage of the JK where the shift lever thrashed about with every bump in the road ;)
