Anybody out there(?) ... Six 2 eight months delivery ... Cloth heat shields ... Track bar welds .. having fun or what
can't say am ever bored keeping up
(Btw so far so good - 1st 300 mile np - except backup camera is stubborn , doesn't like to display coming out of the garage - don't trust it anyway but curious it works afterwards)

Went on a day trip. When we got to where we were going to, my Wife says " We should have brought the Jeep!....Oh wait, you don't have a Jeep! Ha, Ha!"
I did get an email from FCA, estimated delivery is between the 12th and 18th.

btw, also reversed seat head rest so it's angled straight instead of forward - was getting neck ache with the default installation ... and then went back to dealership today for camera check ... was overcast and raining and camera didn't work the whole time ... salesman verified dash display shows the 't-shirt' and radio and reverse gear activate the camera - but screen is black with X in top right corner ... personally am thinking some sort of photo-sensor in camera is not working because system sees the camera but video signal is black except for in bright daylight when it works normally - but am not knowledgeable with cameras ... am going back to the dealer Oct.23 to get the engine heater block installed (that was missed on the original order from Feb) and the camera failure is scheduled for service then ... also the passenger seat back release (to enter the rear seating) is falling out but still works - that is noted to be serviced to ... few days after picking up the UA5 weld recall was issued (which would have been a frustrating stop sale and after 216 days waiting) ... welds look good to me, but again not knowledgeable about welds, service department at dealer says no fix is scheduled for that until 4th quarter ... taking some road trips and long weekend drives before the end of the the month so thinking it's all good since no recall letter (even though vin is on the recall list) ... otherwise 474 miles and almost 24 mpg

Glad to see everyone enjoying the 2.0L, really wondering when mine will arrive (ordered Feb 17th, so at about day 226 right now). Of course I switched to the Power Top in June so that is part of the delay, but getting on here and reading about your deliveries is working to keep me strong, almost got a BMW X6 last night, but the lack of ability to go on even easy trails is a big factor (and of course it isn't a Wrangler).
Anyways, can't wait until I get to post up here about my 2.0 JLUR, apparently now the wait is for them to make a batch of the power tops in Punk'n, I'm still in D1.

Am humbled (day 216 for mine) ... Is and was worth the wait ... Was missing the easier entry and exit and higher ride ... looking forward to next year with top and doors off ... Thinking fca is going for safety first, but also think that much longer they should ask if you want no cost upgrade to 2019 ... Best wishes it comes soon .
