By the way it looks like the M220 is now standard on the Sport and Sahara and therefore not bundled with the ASD.

That is according to the 2019 order guide posted on this site.

2019 Jeep Wrangler 4-Door JLU ORDER GUIDE and PRICING (U.S.)
Not certain but that might be a typo on page 15 that shows M220 standard. Page 12 shows M200 axle.

It would be nice to get clarification on this. If the rear D44 M220 is now standard on Sport, I may pass on the limited slip option.

Might the M220 be standard with manual and M200 standard with auto?

Hmm. Technically according to the Order Guide what you are saying makes sense. But check out this thread:

(looks like you already found it)

So it's confusing. Let me check with an insider to see if I can find out more. @JAY if you know please weigh in.

I posted this a few days ago:

I ordered a 2019 Sport S without anti slip.

My build sheet says "Dana M220 Rear Axle" and my window sticker says "3rd Generation Dana® 44 HD Rear Axle".

Pretty happy about this unannounced change.

EDIT: After looking at a bunch of '19 build sheets it looks like M220 is standard now but gets replaced with M200 when ordering automatic transmission and not having the anti slip package

The Canadian site has been weird like that, one day I can option a sport with the M220 other days it’s only available for the 2.0 turbo
Even when a good friend and I ordered our sports back in October, you could select it on the site but they couldn’t on their dealer systems so they called the rep and ordered them that way

The M220 seems to be standard for the manual, then the M200 gets optioned in for the auto.
This is my buddies sticker, can see it’s orginal equipment, then optioned the M200 under the auto and optioned back in under the anti spin option

Actually if you go strictly by the order guide (US, 4-door), there is no way to get the M220 with the automatic. So something is not right.

Factory order JL once I finalize the configuration..
I just went and tried to select the anti slip option again. It still doesn't come up but when I changed to a four door it does come up. Has something to do with 2 door Auto or manual when its not available.

I ordered mine about a month ago (Nov 2018), a base JLU with a 6 speed and the only option being the LSD in back for $600. The dealership didn't seem to have a problem ordering it...
