Our Jeep has a lift and sometimes when people enter/exit, theIr foot slips off the rock slider

I have been thinking about putting a non-skid surface on the slider using marine type deck paint.

Has anyone done something similar? Longevity? Any ideas or suggestions?

just google anti-skid or anti-slip tape.

or do the home-made trick:

fresh coat of paint on the sliders.
sprinkle sand (not dirt) onto the wet paint.
after it dries put another coat of paint on top to cover the sand.

Skateboard grip tape? Standard board tape is 33x9, so you could probably cut it in half lengthwise and tape half down by each door opening.

Why not truck bed liner? It's cheap enough and I'm pretty sure hardware stores have it in rattle cans
