Another white 19 JL Rubicon build

Well somewhere between Toledo and Idaho my Jeep is on its way to me and I can’t wait. Parts are starting to show up and I’m ready to get this party started. I order a 19 JLUR on 9/26, it was built 11/4 and hit the train on 11/7. Sitting in the garage is a 3.5” Rock Krawler X-factory lift, King 2.5” shocks are headed my way, KMC Machetes, 38x13.50x17 Patagonia MTs, MBRP exhaust, a Tazer, and some 2 gallon RotopaX cans for tre tailgate. Hoping to pick it up this week and come up with a name.

Well it’s starting to get real. Looks like my 19 JLUR has hit the lot. Can’t wait to go pick it up. Good thing I’m friends with the service manager to speed up the PDI. Picked these puppies up this evening. Gotta love Discount Tires Black Friday sale. I scored a killer deal on these. Getting the rings warmed up for some paint. Pick up the Jeep Friday, install lift Saturday and snow run Christmas tree hunt on Sunday. Or at least that’s the plan...

Well I decided to mount up a tire. I know it’s not for everyone but I’m pleased. Off the jeep at 26 pounds of air these 38’s measure out to be 37.70” tall. Getting excited to see them on the new rig.

Something exciting happened today. The dealer sent me these photos. My 19 JLUR finally arrived at the dealership. Can’t wait to pick it up.

I finished mounting up my tires and wheels this evening. Can’t wait to get them on the Jeep.

Nice! What's in the Mopar Jeep box? That looks like a Mopar lift, not a Rock Krawler. Is there something else they sell in those boxes? You live in a nice part of the country to put that bad boy to good use!

Nice! What's in the Mopar Jeep box? That looks like a Mopar lift, not a Rock Krawler. Is there something else they sell in those boxes? You live in a nice part of the country to put that bad boy to good use!

Hey thanks, I love central Oregon. The mopar box is a mopar lift. I work at a jeep dealership and my parts were in the parts dept when I snapped that photo.

Finally picked the Jeep up! I couldn’t be more impressed. Got to try the 4wd out on the drive home. It basically snowed the entire time home.

Picked the Jeep up Thursday and installed the lift on Saturday. I couldn’t be more pleased. 3.5” Rock Krawler, 38x13.50x17 Patagonia MTs with KMC Machetes. My king 2.5s haven’t arrived yet so temp installed some EVO shock extenders. Then took it to the shop and threw it in the rack to dial it in.
