Another unexpected cost of Jeep ownership - cleaning my driveway!

I have been out in the mud a few times. Afterwards I wash my Jeep. My wife complained about the dirty driveway.

During the drought I let the mud dry and then swept the driveway. Now I can hose the driveway.

So, the added cost of Jeep ownership - I have to clean my driveway!

Yeah but that's not just any mud, that's Jeep mud. Willing to bet you had a proud smirk on your face the whole time you were hosing down the driveway. Lol

I have the same issue. I just hose it until I get most of it in to the street, and then it's someone else's problem.

Nobody wants to see a dirty man washing a clean Jeep so be in the Jeep when you go mudding. Makes the wash much better.

Don't waste that jeep mud, my god man put it in 1/2 pint jars and label it by year and model and sell it on ebay. What a concept.

good one: how about labeling flavors such as, Ruby red broken parts melody or moab hot and dusty marble, mountain rut special etc. Any ideas?

Just smile while you are doing it. Our driveway and gutters were stained with the red mud of Utah for months. Not only that, stuff kept falling out for the next few months while washing it. Just smiled.

We are renting our house right now, but when I do have my own house. I plan on having a gravel driveway shoot off from the main driveway, that's where I will park my Wrangler. Might even put up a fancy wooden outdoor pavilion to park it under. That way it'll be protected from hail, and simultaneously give me a great place to drink my beers, close to my baby!

I bought a Ryobi Pressure Washer Water Broom at Home Depot. Great for both cleaning the undercarriage and driveway.
